Being an entrepreneur is difficult. Probably the hardest job out there. The statistic shows that 60-80% of businesses fails but what gives Sue the umph to strive ahead even though it seems so hard? Read on

I started Little Scandi baby in 2020, when the covid hit the entire world and the world was on a proper standstill. We were all sitting at home, trying to protect ourselves from the germs that was in the air. I was on furlough and the time was so strange. The world had to try out different things, to survive and to continue when it seemed very weird and strange. You are close to your family but we couldn't meet up. You go for a grocery shopping but the queue was long, because only 10 or 20 people were allowed in, one at a time, but the Social Media was not asleep, it was not on a standstill, it was pretty awake and active. It was then where I saw a post of a family asking for incentive or gifts that they get for free. Who doesn't want things for free?

I then signed up to be an influencer. However that wasn't very interesting as much as I thought I would be, in fact being the person who choose influencers was very interesting. You get influencers asking you for products, and you get them to be interested in your products. That was fun and I started Little Scandi baby, but then I asked myself, why am I doing this busineess? What is the purpose and point? In 2023 I was trying to conceive as life happened. I went to see a private gynaecologist. The gynaecologist told me a lot of info, and the whole appointment was too overwhelming. They told me I have signs of Endometriosis on one of my ovaries, I also have adenomyosis on my other ovary, fibroid blocking part of my tube so the best way to conceive is IVF! I came out of the appointment wanted to burst in tears. Where do I start and what do I do? What are all these terms. I was lost and hopeless. I was so broken as I thought why is this happening to me, what have I done wrong to my body and this is how Little Scandi baby is eventually Born!

Do you know how much plastic we consume on a daily basis, whether you're eating healthy choosing Organic Chicken to yoghurt or anything that is using a plastic container pretty much absorbs the plastic from the container. You may not see it or have noticed it, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't be aware of it. Consumers may not have a choice, but the manufacturers, brands, and the makers do make that choice. They have a choice.  Infertility has affected me badly in order to conceive, and chemicals, plastics doesn't help, therefore I want to bring an awareness to the high street brands that there is a better choice out there.

Little Scandi baby focuses on sustainability and the make of the products. We use Oeko Tex Certified 100 Materials with tests out for health concerns and whether the materials are made with plastics. Organic is another type we use in our materials and is absolutely safe for babies and kids to use.

I want to bring this awareness to the high street. There is too much mass produced products on the high street that I feel we need to bring a stop to. Customers doesn't notice these things and the consumers doesn't have a choice apart from not using it. Anything that is made out of nylon and polyester is plastic.
Little Scandi baby chose not to work with these fabrics and I am not choosing for second best because Kids and babies deserves the best

Make a wise choice and choose Little Scandi baby. A brand that you can trust

When you choose plastic free you are bringing a better environment for a child's upbringing. I don't see why not choose better
