Little Scandi baby’s heart of raising as we hit the "sent" button on our application form to the prestigious Startups. 100 2026 competition. WOHOO! For months and years my tiny team of just me has poured every ounce of passion and creativity into building something truly special: a line of kids and baby apparel with the timeless elegance of Scandinavian design with an unwavering commitment to sustainability. Today, I stand poised on the threshold of a new chapter—one that could see our playful, planet-friendly creations featured among the most promising early–stage businesses in the country.

When I first sketched our Kids Stylish Vest design at home, I never imagined just how far the dream would stretch. Back then, it was simply me who wanted to make little bunny comforter blankets, clean lines and the desire to bring something sentimental that contributes the children’s upbringing with a Danish Design Concept. I sourced non-sustainable materials, experimented with different colours and shapes, and tested every stitch until each blanket felt like a friend to hug. Not long after this, it didn't feel right. The materials used after browsing online and on social medias, the materials that I used which contains chemicals can affect baby and kids upbringing and it was so that Little Scandi baby wanted to voice out. We stand here today using Oeko tex Certified materials or Sustainable Materials such as Organic and Natural Cotton to create our collection today

Applying to Startups. 100 2026 feels so exciting when this was announced through Theo Paphitis SBS Newsletter I didn't hesitate but to apply. This isn’t merely a contest; it’s a gathering of visionary founders, who has a dream and a vision for what they want best for the community, the world and the consumers they have in mind. 

I envision Little Scandi baby growing from a beloved niche label into a brand celebrated in nurseries from home to home 

Whatever the outcome, this application marks a milestone. Since we started in 2022, it is testament to late–night working with cups of hot water, to me falling asleep on my work desk, from sourcing the best suppliers to being part of the big Wholesale Market Faire.com I am proud of how far Little Scandi baby has come, and I am even more excited for what lies ahead.

So here’s to nail-biting anticipation and dreams that refuse to stay small. Here’s to every parent who seeks beauty without waste, who chooses sustainability over mass production, who chooses to pay a little extra for quality over quantity and to every brave parents enough to give Little Scandi baby a go. Little Scandi baby may be one among a hundred hopefuls, but in my heart, I keep striving forward—creating with purpose, growing in community, and reaching always for the next horizon.
